Admission to Mother Seton Regional High School is based primarily on academic achievement in the previous school years. Therefore, a transcript from the student's elementary school must be forwarded to Mother Seton Regional High School.

Standardized testing results are also used to evaluate a prospective student's academic potential. Students from parochial and public elementary schools of all dioceses are tested in the Catholic high schools of the Newark Archdiocese. Results of these tests are forwarded to Mother Seton Regional High School.

Another important requirement for admission to Mother Seton Regional High School is that the applicant and her family express a desire to be part of the Seton Community and to work toward a high level of academic excellence. The "spirit" that such an initial motivation generates enhances all aspects of school life at Mother Seton Regional High School.

Mother Seton Regional High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan program, athletic and other school-administered programs.
